Anemophily: When the pollen grains are transfer from one flower to another flower through the air is called anemophily and flower is known as anemophilous flowers. Such as Cereal plant like Maize etc.

Hydrophily: When the pollination brings by water is known as hydrophily. The flowers pollinated with the help of water are known as Hydrophilous.
- Plants that are grown in water are generally Hydrophilous.
- Flowers are generally unisexual, inconspicuous, dull and smaller in size.
- Pollens are heavy as there are carried by water currents.
- Pollination occurs either underwater or on the water surface.

Zoophily: When the pollinating agent is animal, it is called zoophily. The animal pollinated flower is known as zoophilous. Generally in zoophilous plants, flowers are very large, attractive and maximum numbers of nectar glands are present (more than entomophilous).
