Lysosomes

  • Lysosomes are roughly spherical bodies enclosed by a single membrane of lipoprotein found in the cytoplasm of animal cells. The inner space or vacuole contains dense, granular, and homogenous material. They develop in a gradual way by the addition of the hydrolytic enzymes to late endosomes from the Golgi complex.
