Normative Ethics: Virtue Ethics, Consequentialism, Deontological Ethics
- Ethics is a branch of philosophy that deal with study of morality. There are four main branches of ethics. They are; descriptive ethics, normative ethics, Meta ethics and applied ethics.
- Descriptive ethics deals with study of actions which are regarded as moral or immoral as per the customs, rules or regulations, laws, etc. Meta-ethics is also known as analytical ethics, it deals with the study of the origin of ethical concepts. Utilitarianism: Different Kinds of Utilitarianism
- Utilitarianism is an ethical philosophical theory according to which an action is moral if the result of that action leads to the greatest well-being for the greatest number of people.
