Introduction

The word conservation is derived from two Latin words ‘con’ meaning ‘together’ and “server” meaning to ‘keep’ or guard. The word was coined by Gifford Pinchot. The conservation of biodiversity began after the realization of man that biodiversity is also a resource and it also must be protected.
