Class I: Cycadophyta
Class Cycadophyta includes both fossil and living forms.
The stem is unbranched and stumpy.
Leaves are large and pinnately compound.
Male cones are large and compact with simple microsporophylls.
Female cones are loosely packed and each of them is pinnate.
